SUNNY SOUL FITNESS AND WELLBEING, ​
My name is Heather Lenihan, I was involved in the fitness industry over 30 years ago, only leaving to pursue a different career. I decided to return last year following an injury which left me with mobility issues, I used both Pilates and low impact mobility exercises to aid my recovery. This provided me with an opportunity to take early retirement and now offer similar classes to reach out to people who are new to or returning to fitness.
Sunny Soul Fitness offers low impact classes along with Pilates with a focus on positivity and motivation, and to help individuals of all ages to achieve their fitness goals and want to have fun.

Wee update, well our classes have now been up and running for a couple of months now and they continue to go from strength to strength. We have a lovely group of clients who are all participating in Pilates for their own goals and even in this short space of time have realised the benefits of Pilates and the positive aspects it is adding to day to day living.
​
We offer a warm welcome to new clients at 3 lovely venues based in East Dunbartonshire. There are no judgements, no rush, no hurry in our classes, we take our time to ensure everyone benefits from the class. It's your body, your practice, you do what you can, even if you want to lie down and just breathe that is mighty fine.

STEP AEROBICS

Well it's not just Pilates at Sunnysoul Fitness, I have taken a step back in time, literally, and I have returned to teaching Step Aerobics (Reebok back in it's day). This is a back to basics beginners class,
​low impact, steady pace to Country tunes.
Steps are provided or if you have one in a cupboard somewhere dust it down and bring it along and have some fun :)
Classes are on a Saturday morning 10.30-11.15 at MMFitness Callanetics Studio.

Steps are provided or if you have one in a cupboard somewhere dust it down and bring it along and have some fun :)
Classes are on a Saturday morning 11.30-12.15 at MMFitness Callanetics Studio.

Beginners Pilates - This class is for people who are new to Pilates and will take you right from the beginning into a gentle, structured, easy to follow practice. Pilates helps connect mind and body, builds strength, mobility and balance. Suitable for absolute beginners and beginners looking to improve. Available to book in PAYGO options, £7 per class, blocks of 8 classes at £44, these can be used across all my classes, just let me know you are coming. Cash or card at class. Never been to Pilates class before and apprehensive about going to a class, I get it. You worry incase everyone knows what they sre doing and you're the newbie, then this is for you.
Or maybe you follow online Pilates but want a face to face class to check you have the right technique, and ask questions, then this masterclass is for you.
Whether you use it to come to my classes or other classes elsewhere, or continue to follow online classes, it doesn't matter, use this to suit you. It'll be a small number of participants to ensure everyone has individual attention and can ask questions. I will take you through a classical mat Pilates class, right from the beginning, explaining why the class is structured the way it is. We will finish with a lovely stretch, meditation and relaxation followed by a cuppa and chat.
